Through Haus zur Glocke with Anna Bürkli

Tomorrow, Saturday 3rd October at 5pm, art mediator Anna Bürkli of the Kunstmuseum Solothurn guides through the autumn exhibition “Die Dinge des Alltags und die Kunst” at the Haus zur Glocke.

In a text accompanying the exhibition, she elaborates on Max Bottini’s work: “Ephemerality, on which art has reflected with impressive still lives ever since the Baroque shock at the transience of all live, is equally acute in the present with the precarious existential threat to humanity due to the climate catastrophe. Max Bottini, as self-conscious human being, shows us on behalf of us all how one’s own transience can be faced and how one can enter into dialogue with it. For his projects, which he often realizes outdoor, the artist, too, gains inspiration from everyday life. With events on the topics of food production, he draws attention to the importance of food. The audience is sensitized because they are involved in the process; whether as gardeners, harvest helpers, cooks or savoring recipients.” So much for Anna Bürkli. After the guided tour, Max Bottini presents his “Alltagssuppe” (everyday soup), composed especially for this occasion.

For this event, we ask for your registration at info@hauszurglocke.ch or via phone +41 52 770 24 50. The number of places is limited, admission is free.
