Juri Gagarin Band at Turmhof Foyer
The Zurich-based Juri Gagarin Band has been playing their space jazz for many stellar ages and is on the road like Starship Enterprise: The three Swiss jazz musicians learned to cruise in their own orbit in Zurich’s Andorra Bar during years of ‘steady gigs’ on their Monday Jazz Nights. Subsequently, they played everywhere throughout Switzerland over the years. Today, the trio also like to be on the road with ‘standards’ again, but always sprinkle in sound splinters from space.
