Reading ‘Zeiten’ (times)

Eva Tobler reads from her manuscript “Zeiten”. Her short poems lead through lifetimes, seasons, times of sense and sensibility. They word the unspectacular, the experienced everyday, and the remembered, or possibly unnoticeably disappeared. They live through a mysterious simplicity, are understandable and upon hearing elude our quotidian logic. They appear, disappear, leave traces of hearing.
Dieter Jordi plays on historical guitar instruments, Vihuela and baroque guitars, Spanish music from the Renaissance to the 20th century, by Luis Milan, Fernando Ferandiere, Manuel de Falla, and others between lyrical “times”, Fantasias, Caprichos, Preludios, Modulaciones, Epitafios.
