In the context of the annual theme Art and Ritual the exhibition self-critically questions one's own curation in relation to foundations that are not always as explicit: Are artistic works only read as art through the own ritual of an exhibition? How does the conception of a “right” and “wrong” reception of art come about? In short: What preadjustments and expectations do we bring with us towards the exhibition ritual?
